Gunman killed 4 military at Carson City restaurant in Nevada

At least 4 military were killed Tuesday by a man who opened fire in a restaurant in Carson City, Nevada.and six people were also injured in the attack., according to Kenny Furlong, Sheriff of Carson City.

Furlong told The Associated Press that the gunman opened fire inside an IHOP restaurant in Carson City on Tuesday at around 9 am.

The sheriff said three people were killed and several people were injured, including the shooter and said officials believe the attacker was taken to a hospital "and is probably going to die."

Two victims were transported by helicopter to a Reno hospital and were in critical condition. Two more were taken to a nearby hospital.

Police immediately surrounded the place and the troops took up positions across the commercial sector that includes more shops and a casino.

It was not immediately clear how many people were attacked, or their names or conditions.
