Violence is never controversial these days but sex is and Steve McQueen’s entry to the Venice Film Festival “SHAME” is no exception.

Here is the British director facing the critics and explaining why he made a film that contains explicit sex scenes.

Here is an actor Michael Fassbender who is explaining how “uncomfortable” he felt doing the sex scenes and how his acting ability overcame that!

Sex is good publicity and I hope audiences are not disappointed after all the hype!

Filmmakers know that there are two ways that one can get an emotional reaction from the audience, sex or violence, and while there are credible violent films that contain a message there are too many that rely on gratuTheritous violence.

Directors these days are afraid of censorship where sex is concerned and not obtaining a regular classification especially in the USA.

I wish Mr McQueen every luck for SHAME...

There are 9 other trailers for you to look at here including stars , Madonna, George Clooney and AL Pacino among others...
