The law in Texas places a fine of about $5,000.00 dollars and 90 days in jail for people caught drinking and driving. However, if they are apprehended again the penalties worsen. In many countries though, the penalty for this offense is much greater. Here are but a few examples with the worst listed first.

The surest way to not be caught for drinking and driving is not to drink at all. Excluding that, if you do drink then never ever drive. The life that you could save may be your own.
