Botswana burst 14 children died of bacterial diarrhea

Botswana, a nationwide outbreak in early August of bacterial diarrhea, has been infected 914 people, including 14 children died. Omar Bo Weisheng Bu Medical experts said the worst hit area is the southeastern Catron, number of infected persons up to 105 people. Other more serious areas, including southeast Mahalapei town, north of the capital Gaborone and the Ngami district. Omar said in a recent report, the relevant departments in the faeces collected from different regions of the samples was detected rotavirus, the virus that causes diarrhea in infants and young children one of the major pathogens. The majority of infected people appear frequently diarrhea, dehydration, loss of appetite and other symptoms.
