With the preponderance of Internet Cafes in the Philippines, Hewlet-Packard's decision to abandon its PC business creates an "UPGRADE" opportunity for the Internet Cafe entrepreneurs in this country. There must be a HUGE stock of PC's that will be sold with small profit margins. While the likes of NETOPIA will not need to upgrade their meat & potato machines for all the customers of Internet Cafes, medium sized entrepreneurs could likely strike a super deal?
