Kate Winslet saves Richard Branson’s 90-year-old mother’s life

Kate Winslet has suddenly become a hero in front of the public. Those who are still unaware of why everyone is searching for Kate Winslet's heroic achievement will find it fascinating that she has saved someone's life by risking her own life.

Early Tuesday morning, Kate Winslet saved Richard Branson's 90-year-old mother from the devastating fire that swept his Necker Island residence on the British Virgin Islands archipelago. Branson can't thank her enough for risking her life and saving his mother's life.

Kate Winslet played a vital role in helping Branson's 90-year-old mother to escape fire. Branson described what exactly happened saying, "She carried my mother outside the home and spoke with her. She said it was like a movie when she had to wait for the director to shout Cut! It was quite surreal for her to be in a real situation." He added, "My mother is able to walk, but this was a way to speed up the evacuation."

Fire broke out on the Island that belongs to Richard Branson. Several villas and luxury residences were built on this personal property. Investigations revealed that the fire must have been an outcome of a hurricane that hit the region.

According to a statement released by their personal representative, "Richard Branson, his family and several guests were on the island at that time. All are healthy and safe." As far as their house is concerned, Branson plans to rebuild it. Currently just huddled up with family and friends in the continuing tropical storm realizing what really matters in life.

Winslet, her boyfriend and family were staying in the lavish eight-bedroom Great House, along with Branson's daughter, Holly, and her friends when the disaster struck. This was reported by Radaronline.

Fortunately, all 20 people escaped unharmed from the fire. Branson shared shocking photos of his retreat burning. According to more witnesses, the fire broke out just before dawn when lighting from a tropical storm hit the home on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands.
