Sardar Hussain Babak, the education minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who was injured after his car was ambushed in his native Buner district returned home from hospital.
Babak, who belongs to the ruling Awami National Party (ANP), was injured after his car overturned in result of an ambush at Changlai area near Swabi. Four others in his vehicle also received injuries and shifted to Swabi hospital.
Hussain Babak returned to his home in Buner from hospital after medical aid.
The provincial government has ordered inquiry of the incident.
Talking to ARY News, Babak said he said his car was fired at from behind near the house of a known militant. The vehicle went out of the control due to the firing,” he added. Reports said none of the men in the car received bullet injuries.
