Thompson Bible International Institute Holds Workshop in Cebu

The Thomson Bible International Institute (TBII) is at present planning to hold its usual Thompson Bible Workshop in Cebu, Philippines this coming October 6 – 8, 2011, by 7.30 am each day. This will be the second time around in Cebu, as the first Workshop was held there in 2009.

The Workshop which is being coordinated by Pastor Rommy Faderan, Pastor-inchrge Nortview Christian Fellowship (NCF) will take place in the NCF auditorium, located at the Lower Bacayan in Cebu.

According to the Philippines National Coordinator of TBII, Pastor Johnny C. Gaco, who will be leading a team of other resource person, the event is going to be a blessing of a life time Bible Workshop, where participants at the end of the 3-day Workshop, will smile home with the precious and latest edition of the Thompson Chain Reference Bible.

He noted that participants are required to pay a token P1, 200 (early birds) and good until September 30 and then after participants will be required to pay P1, 600, “register now, slots are limited to 100 delegates only.”

Pastor Gaco further said that the Workshop is open to preaching pastors, church elders/deacons, Sunday school principals/teachers, cell group supervisors/leaders. Others are care group leaders, evangelists, missionaries etc.

He noted that TBII seeks to motivate God's workers toward Spirit-directed Bible study, which will enable clear and effective communication of God's Word. The ultimate aim is mature reproducing followers of Jesus Christ who live their lives in accordance with His Word.

On the worldwide vision of TBII, he said that since 1982, more than 30,000 pastors, evangelists, and local church workers have been equipped and trained in India, the Philippines, Chad, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile, Peru, Nicaragua, Mexico, and the United States.

Pastor Gaco observed that many other countries have been represented, as missionaries have returned back to their fields of ministry using the training received. “When you successfully complete this course, you are linked in a special way with thousands of your brothers and sisters in Christ ministering around the world.”

He continued: “Someday you will meet them in Heaven, along with a multitude of believers who have come into deeper intimacy with our Savior due to a clearer and more powerful transmission of the Word of God.”
