TWO WEAPONS MANUFACTURING UNITS DESTROYED BY ISRAELI AIR FORCE IN GAZA STRIP

In retaliation to over 20 Grad and Qassam rocket attacks on Isreal in past 48 hours, the Israel Air Force (IAF) smashed two arms manufacturing and arms storage units located at Central Gaza Strip on Saturday, which are under the control of terror activity groups of Northern Gaza Strip. Israel's aerial attacks resulted in killing of atleast 10 persons and injuring another 20. The short range rockets fired on Israel fell on populated areas of Ashdod resulting in wounding of 10 persons and no casualities reported. The other rockets were intercepted by Israel Army Iron Dome Missile Defense Systems. In the IAF aerial attacks two smuggling tunnels and a terrorist bunker was smashed down in Northern Gaza.

Israel held ‘Hamas’ group is responsible for the terrorist attacks on Israel and declared its determination to smash down any kind of such activities against Israel by such groups in future. On the other side the Egyptian Army launched attacks with Tanks and Armord vehicles on Al-Quada and Hamas groups early this week to reduce the terroristic activitiy in the region.

UPDATE 22/8/2011: In response to Isreal's aerial attacks Hamas pledged that it see no more such attacks would take place against Isreal by its groups, but whereas the Palastenian groups fired around four rockets on Isreal on Sunday night killing at least one person according to Isreali Defense Authorities.
