I am very concerned about the chinese governement propanganda. I was in Tibet in 2001. The Chinese were celebrating (?!?) what they call the liberation of Tibet. No american tourist were allowed in Tibet, it was hard to get in. In Lhasa, there were no access to the potala. The Tibetans were not allowed around the potala were the celebrations were taking place. On Tv at night, they were showing the celebration, showing tibetans celebrating. IT WAS A MONTAGE, no tibetans were there!!!! This is just an example. I WAS THERE I saw it with my own eyes.... I will add that we can only speak about ourselves, so when the president and others chinese politicans call the Dalai Lama a liar and very other unrespectful names, I strongly beleive that they talk about them selves.Everyone who wants to make action to free tibet, please visit the website of Student for a free Tibet, become a member or get on the action list.

- Ya, Very True Luciole Chinese Govt is big liar and coward. Who always use propanganda tactic to against the truth. I tried to tried to write some comments in this chinadaily.com where some chinese are discussing about tibet but in wrong way, I thought of clarifing them on Tibet Issue but my veiw is not accepted. - Its no secret to anybody that Chinese government itself is a gleaming body of lies and deception. And the kind of picture that they try to portray to the world about Tibet and TIbetans...that every thing is hunky dory in the land is anything close to the reality. We, the Tibetans were ousted from our own land and those Tibetans who are in Tibet have been oppressed and have been denied from all forms of fundamental rights. The recent array of protests in Tibet is the pent up frustation which has been long over due. The Chinese invaded tibet under their expansionist policy but they are forgetting that it is now 21st century we are living in...and the world is going to tolerate anymore of such boisterous claims. Please stand for Tibet and give a civilization a second lease of life. Free TIbet!!
