Cleaning For a Reason: a charity providing free house-cleaning to women suffering with cancer
We are bombarded with tragedies daily, but amid the darkness sometimes refreshing beacons of light come shining with kindness.
One such beacon of light is a charity called Cleaning For a Reason, where kind hearts all across the U.S. have joined together to offer this incredible service to women suffering with cancer.
Chemo, stress, fear, medical and emotional cost and pain are just some of the myriad things cancer patients experience and to help ease the burden a wee bit the "earthly angels" over at http://www.cleaningforareason.org/ have collaborated to establish more than 500 partnerships across the country to provide free housecleaning once every month for a period of four months to women undergoing chemotherapy. This time can be incrediblly stressful for patients and their families, and having to worry about one less thing will be of great help.
Below is part of an email I received about this charitable service so please read and share on your Facebook, Twitter or Google acounts. You can also pass it on personally to anyone you might know who is dealing with this terribly debilitating disease.
Cleaning for a Reason
If you know any woman currently undergoing chemotherapy, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning - once per month for four months while she is in treatment.
All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service.
This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these women. It's our job to pass the word and let them know that there are people out there that care. Be a blessing to someone and pass this information along.
