Popular 'Twilight' fan fiction 'Fifty Shades of Grey' becoming a movie!

A popular Twilight fan fiction is becoming a feature film! The extremely sexually graphic novel, Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James was aquired by Universal Pictures and Focus Features, Focus announced on Monday.

Fifty Shades of Grey was originally called Master of the Universe and it followed CEO Edward Cullen and his relationship with small town girl Bella Swan. When the fan fiction was picked up to be published the title changed and the names of the characters changed.

Bella Swan became Anastasia Steele, a literature student who is drafted to interview the successful young entrepreneur Christian Grey, formally Edward Cullen as a human, for her campus magazine. She finds Grey attractive, enigmatic and intimidating. Conviced their meeting went badly, she tries to put Grey out of her mind - until he happens to turn up at the out-of-town hardware store where she works part-time, formally known as Forks, Washington. Amazon describes the book as, "Erotic, amusic, and deeply moving, the Fify Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, posses you, and stay with you forever."

Fifty Shades of Grey was announced it was going to be published in March of 2011. The author, known to Twilight fans is SnowQueen's IceDragon, her new penname is E L James.

The book has been a topic on Dr. Drew's show and has received a lot of attention by critics.

Wouldn't it be amazing if Universal and Focus Features actually got Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in the cast? Twilight fans would probably faint with excitement.
