New Thai PM plans visit to Cambodia

The light of Cambodia's Report on 11 / 8 for new Thai Prime Minister Shinawatra Yingluck will soon have an official visit to Cambodia.

The light newspaper quoted a spokesman for Cambodia's Council of Ministers Phay Siphan said during the visit, she Yingluck will hold talks with his Cambodian Hun Sen on a range of issues, including the strengthening of relations, wherebilateral and discuss the border conflict between neighboring countries in Southeast Asia.

The spokesman Phay Siphan, the bilateral solution to the current conflict must be based on the interests of both parties.However, Cambodia remains the point of solving problems related to the disputed area around Preah Vihear temple by the decision of the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

The same day 11 / 8, Prime Minister Hun Sen said Cambodia will continue to raise the issue of territorial dispute with Thailand at the meetings of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Speaking at the graduation of students of the University human resources in Cambodia's capital Phnom Penh, Hun Sen said: "The territorial dispute between the two countries will no longer be a burden and concern of ASEAN. From now on, issues related to the Thai-Cambodian border are not included on the agenda of ASEAN, as ICJ ruled explicitly request the two countries to withdraw troops from the sector military has a radius of 17km from the Preah Vihear temple. "

Prime Minister Hun Sen also expressed his belief that governments will comply with this provision.
